We had a dream…

The inaugural Shakespeare in the Grove was held on Saturday, 1 May. We initially planned for the event to be an open-air, twilight performance in the beautiful Jacaranda Grove. Unfortunately, the rain resulted in the relocation of the performance by the Toowoomba Grammar Acting Academy (TiGAA) to the Senior School Assembly Hall.

But through the magic of lighting and decorations, the hall was transformed into a mystical landscape mimicking the Grove. The students performed items from “Read My Lips” in addition to a comic “Macbeth Reimagined” by the Intermediate TiGAA and the Senior TiGAA performed the humorous “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
