RECOGNISED WORLD WIDE

Gudfala Tut Skul is a grassroots program, started in 2018, in response to the findings of the 2017 Vanuatu National Oral Health Survey, that revealed around 70% of 5-7 year-old children have tooth decay and bleeding gums. In just a few short years the program has now been recognized and supported by the FDI World Dental Federation, the International College of Dentists and the World Health Organization Gudfala Tut Skul is effective because it’s:

The key goal of the program is to develop brushing habits at a young age, that will last a lifetime. After all, healthy teeth are fundamental to having a healthy body. It’s really quite simple as the “Before” and “After” pictures illustrate below.

MADE IN VANUATU
To create employment, while supporting local business, the Vanuatu brushing program produces its own coconut oil-based toothpaste; in Port Vila. The pink thoothpaste is packaged in 500ml returnable and refillable containers, which significantly reduces waste. And children absolutely love the bubblegum flavour.
