About Us DagangHalal was founded with humble beginnings in 2007; where operation started with a single employee in a very small meeting room. With the leadership of the co-founders Dato Haji Muhadzir Isa and Mr Francis Chong, DagangHalal now has grown to over 60 employees and successfully attained the company listing status from London on 7th April 2016 (Share Symbol: NEX:DGHL).
DagangHalal plc is principally involved in the provision and management of global halal verified products e-marketplace known as Daganghalal.com, the provision and management of a halal verification system for global halal certificates known as Halal-Verified Engine (“HVE”), the provision and management of global halal community information sharing, communication and transactions known as Meembar, as well as the provision of software solutions for halal certification life cycle and halal training and consultancy services.

Launched in December 2013, HVE is a collaborative project between JAKIM and DagangHalal.
HVE is a repository of an integrated database of global halal certificates that provides global Halal Certification Bodies (CBs) access to verify the authenticity of a supplier's halal certificates submitted by Halal Applicants (HAs) during a certification application process. HAs can use HVE to retrieve and download valid certificates of their existing or other alternative suppliers.

HALAL APPLICATION APPROVAL SYSTEM
HAAS is a large scale online system that enables a Certification Body (CB) to manage their halal certificate application process life cycle from application start up to approval or rejection in an intuitive and easy to use manner.
The system is convenient to the CB as they can keep track and manage the applications totally online from any device. From the same system, Halal Applicants (HA) are able to track the progress and status of their application, manage any products nearing expiry dates, trace non-conformance information and be informed of any pending documentation for compliance purposes.
MyHAS is another collaborative project between JAKIM and DagangHalal.
It is a system software that is developed based on JAKIM’s Halal Assurance System guideline. The system is designed to ensure all regulatory and compliance matters are consistently upheld within the Halal certificate holders' production and operations workplace.
The world largest Halal e-marketplace that is facilitates the online sourcing of verified global halal products and / or ingredients.
Merchants whose products and company are verified will attain the Halal Verified status and Genuine Seller status which will be reviewed on a yearly basis. All paid merchants are assigned with responsive e-commerce website while only Gold Merchants can enjoy enhanced benefits such as specific invitation to join DagangHalal cross border e-commerce programs.
