What are Community Bucks?

Community Bucks are checks that can be spent at over 80 chamber member businesses. There is no fee to purchase a gift check. A complete list of accepting businesses, can be found by visiting www.greatervidaliachamber.com, click on Member Directory and search for “Community Bucks Participants.”

Why Buy Community Bucks?

The Chamber provides this as a service to our members and to encourage residents to buy local.

“My daughter’s 14th cake & coffee evening birthday party was rained on, but not rained out! Prior to the start of the party, our neighbor (on Charles Drive, Vidalia) had set up an outside scavenger hunt for our daughter to hunt for her gifts. When it started to rain, we didn’t let it stop us. Umbrellas in hand, we walked down and held the hunt despite the rain.
