As the first bulbs of spring bloom and the evenings grow lighter, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement for the upcoming events in our beloved town of Tonbridge. With a bustling calendar ahead, there’s something for everyone to anticipate and enjoy.

From captivating theatre productions at the EM Forster Theatre to a diverse range of events hosted at Tonbridge Angels Football Club, our community is brimming with activities to fill your calendars. Don’t forget to explore our ‘Every Week’ section, where you’ll find a variety of events welcoming newcomers and seasoned attendees alike. It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new and connect with fellow residents.

Also scheduled is the upcoming West Kent Expo for 2024 - our first ever West Kent business exhibition with plenty of workshops and opportunities to network with like-minded local

businesses. Be sure to check the listing in our March section for more information on this exciting new event.

In these busy months ahead, let’s continue to show our support for local businesses, events, and community groups. They are the lifeblood of our town, facing their own set of financial challenges. By choosing to spend locally, we not only invest in our community but also contribute to its vibrancy and resilience. Together, let’s keep Tonbridge thriving and full of life.

Tonbridge Town Team

What is the Tonbridge Town Team?

The Tonbridge Town Team was established as a result of the Portas Review published in 2011. The main aim is help make Tonbridge a vibrant and exciting place to live, work, visit and do business. The team achieve this by linking together businesses, local government, charities, clubs and the population as a whole.

There are lots of organisations, businesses and individuals who are doing fantastic things in Tonbridge and so the team set out to work with them and celebrate their achievements. They can make even more of an impact on the town by encouraging innovation and entrepreneurialism, and by building on the community spirit that exists in Tonbridge and the surrounding area.

The town team’s vision is an inclusive one that values all members of the community and seeks to build bridges and enable all to prosper in the surrounding area.

By working together and concentrating on what we can do rather than what we can’t, by being open to new ideas and matching enthusiasm with patient resolve we can continue to make our community not just a good place, but a great place to live.
