WEEKEND EDITION
PEOPLE oF TOMORROW,
YOU HAVE FOUND THE ESSENCE! Breathe, friends; your work is done. From deep within your soul, you’ve brought forth the final ingredients that the Elixir of Life needed: love, unity, and the peculiarities of your own person. Now breathe. Try and catch a final whiff of the fragrance that flows forth from the heart tree in centre of the maze. Remember the perfume-makers, the fairies of the forest, the zeppelins overhead, and the spectacle in front of you. Remember how you felt for three days long, as you bumbled and stumbled surprisedly through the world of wonders unfolding before your eyes. Remember the people you met, the souls you admired, the friends that you made. And remember the backdrop of Nature, strong
and loyal cornerstone of everything we do. Didn’t she shine bright with sunlight, and titillate with green grass and treetops? Save and cherish all these memories, for it is in both spheres – the human as well as the natural – that you finally found the essence of the Elixir. Don’t forget to take these lessons home, friends. Spread the Elixir of Life wherever you go; allow it to work its magic, and bring peaceful coexistence everywhere. You can do it – you can do anything, in fact. Because as of this weekend, you are truly a part of the People of Tomorrow.
DreamVille Campers,
5PECIAL MOMENT5
OFF YOU GO!
Some of you might’ve already left, but most of you will do so on Monday. Don’t forget to leave the place as tidy as you found it, so we can all come back next year. See page 8.
Drivers & Drifters,
TRAVEL HOME SAFELY!
Whether you’re going by foot, bike, car, train, boat or aeroplane - be careful, and take some rest along the way if you need it. Better to arrive slowly and safely, than the opposite!
CAMPING LIFE The best of DreamVille
There were many magical moments this weekend both spiritually and musically. We had Dimi and Mike playing a vinyl only set at the Mainstage, Laidback Luke hitting the stage dressed as a superhero and artists like Agents of Time, Push and Johannes Brecht cut it all up live and raw. But if we had to pick one set to go into the history books forever, let it be deadmau5 and Eric Prydz’ astronomous collab at the Opera stage. These two pioneers of prog-house really kicked it, standing inside a specially drawn-up aluminium structure and bringing in their own lights show. As both artists contributed their own tracks and combined them into one massive set people listened, danced and watched history being rewritten.
