Yong Tian Ding Taipei, Taiwan

Yong Tian Ding is a Chinese ancient name of this area, 永田町.

It is my first apartment project that is building in Taipei City. It is a typical type of residential apace in Taiwan. I attempted to perform a particular roof structure and form in this building design, and then using the reticular glass windows to increase the interests of the elevation.

Design description This is a six-floor house that exited in the downtown of Taipei city. The owner is a father who has a construction company. Because of his three sons, he asks us to build a small house which is designed the two floors as a unit, and plans to use it for three families. The basement is a public space where can be used by entire people who live here. The appearance of the building is my important changes of design. I used the staggered wall to create a visual rhythm.
