Dear Theatregoer I am writing to you with immense gratitude following the overwhelming success of our Christmas pantomime, Aladdin!

We are thrilled to announce that over 37,000 people graced us with their presence at Regal, and we cannot express our appreciation enough. The tireless efforts we put into creating these extraordinary spectacles throughout the year are made worthwhile by the support of our loyal audience.

Pantomimes have the power to create everlasting memories, and this year is no exception. During the February half term, we will be presenting the audience favourite, Wizard of Oz! As for the Easter holidays, we are delighted to bring back the critically acclaimed Goldilocks and the Three Bears! We are yet to reveal the title for our October half-term production, but we can assure you that it will be nothing short of spectacular. And finally, for Christmas 2024/25, we are thrilled to present Snow White, the fairest Panto of them all!

In addition to our exciting line up, we are thrilled to announce the return of one of our immensely popular plays with a sequel!

The Salon – The Sequel will grace the Theatre Royal stage this October, starring the Queen of the Airwaves, Leanne Campbell as Carol. Since its premiere in 2009, Leanne has portrayed Carol in every production, making her return to this brand-new production all the more special. Even if you missed the original play, fear not!

The Sequel can be enjoyed and understood as a standalone piece, promising side-splitting comedy that will leave you in stitches.

Regal Entertainments For over two decades, Regal Entertainments have been operation management of St. Helens Theatre Royal. In 2020, we decided to purchase the theatre and invest in our community. St. Helens Theatre Royal is home to Regal Entertainments spectacular family pantomimes, producing over four spectacular shows a year! These include: Cinderella, Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, Peter Pan and many more!

DREAM ACADEMY OF ARTS The Dream Academy performance workshops take place every Saturday morning.

These classes run from 10am – 12pm at St Helens Theatre Royal.

The children work towards 2 performances a year, which are performed at Theatre Royal.

We can arrange a “buddy” friend in case your child is a little shy or nervous, but we find all children settle in easily after the first couple of weeks.

The cost per child is £6 a week.

Simply turn up at the Theatre Box Office and register that morning before the class starts.
