Starring pop sensation, Maureen Nolan, and Coronation Street’s Emrhys Cooper, alongside our dwarf celebrity voiceovers ensemble: Johnny Vegas, Joel Ross, Craig Phillips, John May, The Queen of Scotty Road, Pete Price and Louis Emerick! This year's panto promises to be everything and more that Regal Entertainment’s have become known for… Spectacular Christmas adventure full of laughter, enchantment, and festive cheer!

If you’re looking to get in the Panto mood, and warm up for Snow White at Christmas time, we have the most spellbinding October half term panto… Sleeping Beauty!

We are also thrilled to welcome back Hit’s Radio’s Leanne Campbell and Brookside’s Sarah White, in the much-anticipated sequel to The Salon. This new production is designed to delight both new audiences and long-time fans alike— and as Leanne herself says “You don’t need to have seen the first one to buzz off the second!” .

Looking ahead, don't miss the classic comedy Rita, Sue & Bob Too! in February 2025, starring TV favourite, Jake Quickenden. We have sent this production on a nation-wide tour due to phenomenal demand. It promises a perfect blend of humour, drama and outrageousness that will leave you talking long after the curtain falls!

Regal Entertainments

For over two decades, Regal Entertainments have been operation management of St. Helens Theatre Royal. In 2020, we decided to purchase the theatre and invest in our community. St. Helens Theatre Royal is home to Regal Entertainments spectacular family pantomimes, producing over four spectacular shows a year! These include: Cinderella, Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, Peter Pan and many more!

DREAM ACADEMY OF ARTS

The Dream Academy performance workshops take place every Saturday morning.

These classes run from 10am – 12pm at St Helens Theatre Royal.

The children work towards 2 performances a year, which are performed at Theatre Royal. We can arrange a “buddy” friend in case your child is a little shy or nervous, but we find all children settle in easily after the first couple of weeks.

The cost per child is £6 a week.

Simply turn up at the Theatre Box Office and register that morning before the class starts. If you would like any further information, do not hesitate to contact us.

The play tells the story of Rita and Sue, two working class girls from a rundown council estate who are about to finish their final year at school. In their spare time, they earn money babysitting for married couple Bob and Michelle. Behind Michelle’s back, Bob embarks on an affair with both Rita and Sue, who take it in turns with him in his car in the countryside. Michelle eventually finds out and leaves lothario Bob. When Bob later develops a preference for Rita, the two girls fall out but when Sue ends up in an abusive relationship, the trio are reunited.
