I owe my entire real estate career to my wife, Angel.

She allowed me to quit my job and pursue a career in real estate, even before we were married. We have two beautiful children, Liam and Lillian, and we love Fishers and the city of Indianapolis. We’re die-hard Colts fans and have been season ticket holders since 2006.

In the fall of 2015, RE/MAX Regional Headquarters reached out to me about opening a new franchise in Fishers. My wife and I were ecstatic when the region awarded us the east Fishers franchise on February 12, 2016. RE/MAX is the largest real estate franchise in the world, and the support throughout the network is incredible.

I noticed that Saxony had some retail space available a couple doors down from Jack’s Donuts. So, we called to set up a showing and knew immediately that this would be our spot.

Saxony is a great community with a mixture of single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, retail, parks and a beach. Our team is incredible. We ended up hiring three outstanding women – Jennifer Brandl, Kelli Rohe and Jennifer LaForest are the backbone of our real estate office. Bill Davis runs the property management department and is the Vice President of Operations. Justin Melton and Matthew Nitz are a part of our realtor team.

We’ve now been working out of our new office in Saxony for several months. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come already and excited about the future. My vision is to be the most “Complete” real estate office in the area. We sell, manage, consult, valuate and inform. Informing the community of what’s happening in the real estate market is important. The communities we serve have high expectations for our real estate services.

We’re able to meet those expectations because we focus on what we do best and outsource everything else.

I’ve successfully worked with first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, down-sizers, investors, banks, landlords and renters. I’ve swung a hammer, slapped on paint, landscaped yards, hung drywall and even tried plumbing once (plumbers deserve everything they charge, believe me).

This is our first printed newsletter. We plan to do 3 to 4 newsletters per year to keep the community updated on important real estate matters. They say in business that it’s all about who you know, but Barry Lux, branch manager of Fairway Independent Mortgage in Fishers, says the key to his company’s success is in the why.

Cummings guarantees communication with sellers by starting off with a signed contract between the realtor and the seller.

The contract gives customers a commitment from their realtor to reach out to the seller on an agreed upon weekday.
