Welcome to the Greater Lawrence Chamber! We are a membershipbased organization of businesses and community partners, working together to further our collective interests, while advancing our community forward towards a bright and prosperous future.

Lawrence Township surrounds the City of Lawrence in the northeast corner of Marion County & Indianapolis, Indiana. An elected / volunteer Board of Directors governs the Chamber and a professional
staff is responsible for the development and implementation of the management, policies and day-to-day operations.
The organizational purpose of the Chamber is to promote, advance, and stimulate civic, business, commercial, agricultural and industrial interests and general welfare in the City of Lawrence and surrounding territory, also known as the Greater Lawrence Township Area of Marion County, Indiana, and to stimulate public opinion and reaction to these ends by providing such information and public programs as will foster and encourage these purposes.

“Our patients come back because they aren’t seeing just any doctor moonlighting at different locations,” says Myrle MartinDulaney, the office physician coordinator says. “We know their history and insurance provider, we have their records in the system, and we treat them like family.”

DR. TAMARA DICKERSON, MD
Dr. Dickerson is a beloved pediatrician who has been caring for local families long enough to watch her patients grow up — and now bring in children of their own. Her
reputation for compassion is legendary. One young patient, so eager to show his appreciation, once picked flowers from the office planters just so he wouldn’t arrive at his appointment with Dr. Dickerson emptyhanded. Outside of caring for children, Dr. Dickerson spends time growing her faith and investing in her family and in her community.

Dr. Rowan is trained in osteopathic medicine, which takes a whole-body approach to pediatric care. As a new mother herself, she connects deeply with young families and is especially skilled at

Nurse Practitioner Stacy Frazier brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every visit. After training across multiple sites, she refined her vision for patient-centered care—one that blends expertise with genuine compassion. Outside of the office, Stacy enjoys reading, baking, staying active and spending time with family and friends.

At Lawrence Pediatrics, care is never centralized or impersonal. Instead of a phone tree or voicemail system, every call is answered directly by a registered nurse. Patients love the reassurance of speaking to a knowledgeable voice right away, and urgent concerns are handled quickly and thoughtfully. If a same-day appointment is needed, they make it happen.
After hours, patients have access to a triage line for emergencies, ensuring support is always available when it’s truly needed.

Deb and her late husband moved to Lawrence almost 30 years ago and raised their children in Lawrence Township schools. She has worked her entire career for Community Health Network, first as a respiratory therapist and currently as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She has a long record of expanding services and care to diverse populations across Marion County.
Deb was inspired to run for local office after volunteering for Democratic campaigns during and after the 2016 election. She was elected to the Lawrence Common Council At-Large in 2019 and serves as Chair of the Public Safety Committee.
Deb currently serves as a Board Member at The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Indianapolis and the Fort Benjamin Harrison YMCA. She is also a member of The Links, Inc. and a former Board Member of Martin University.
Deb’s priorities as Mayor include bringing more growth and economic opportunities to Lawrence, working with public safety officials to keep our city safe, and making city spending more equitable so that we can effectively serve all of Lawrence—no matter your neighborhood or income.

From our Early Learning Centers to our award-winning high schools and Center for Innovation & Technology, Lawrence Township Schools offer a wide range of opportunities in academics, athletics, and the performing arts. These experiences prepare students not only for college and careers, but also to become thoughtful, contributing members of our community.
With a 95% graduation rate and a growing number of students entering the workforce with industry-recognized credentials, we are seeing the results of our shared investment in student success. Our students continue to lead in extracurricular excellence, from 2025 state titles in Girls Basketball and Boys Track & Field to national academic recognitions and a total of $54M in awarded scholarships to the Class of 2025.
Literacy remains a foundational priority. Through targeted initiatives and early interventions, are seeing measurable gains in student reading and comprehension as reflected in district IREAD3 data for 2025 where we celebrate 14% growth district wide on the assessment, 9% above the state average. These efforts ensure our students are equipped with the critical skills needed to access opportunity and achieve their full potential.
