What is a poster? The dictionary states: “Sheet of paper, more or less wide, which is attached on the wall, or on fixed braces exclusively placed, to show everybody what is printed on it”. Already at the time of Caio Giulio Cesare in 59 B.C. the posters were used to communicate to the people the acts of the Senate.
In the digital age it seemed a contradiction to give this name to digital works, but in the various competitions in which I took part, the selected works were printed and exposed, as well as being spread on social media.
I think that this makes my masterpiece more concrete and permits to the spectators to assimilate its meaning more slowly and perhaps also longer-lasting.
My masterpieces often arise from a contamination, a collage of traditional artistic techniques (drawing, watercolor, etc.) together with the digital intervention of the computer.
