Rhonda Scott is the granddaughter of the Late Edward and Lena Lopez, daughter of the late Frances Lopez. Rhonda has an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree from Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Oregon. Rhonda brings 12 years business office experience working for Cayuse Technologies, a start up software development/support services company incorporated by The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Rhonda and her husband Lee Scott are full time care providers with guardianship of their 5 and 7 yr old grandchildren. Rhonda and family enjoy going to the beach and going for drives through Prairie Creek Redwood State park hunting for Bigfoot.

Chris Newman recently moved to Del Norte from the Bay Area with his wife Catherine and 1 year old daughter Evelyn. He is excited to live in such a beautiful area and have the opportunity to learn about Tolowa culture and history. Chris has a history of activism including causes for social justice and environmentalism. His interests include hiking, traveling, and positive psychology. He also loves cats.

Jessica Mastaloudis is one of the new family liaisons. She is a happily married mother of 2, and a “Grams” to six wonderful blessings – Jaeda, Sophiea, Calista, Hensley, Kendrick and Charlie. She is an enrolled Yurok tribal member. Jessica worked in Fiscal for the Yurok Tribe/YIHA for the last 10 years, before that she worked in Fiscal for varies County positions to include a Psychiatric Day Treatment for Children and Families for 3 years. She enjoy spending time with her family, Raya (family dog) and friends. In her spare time you can catch her watching tv or a movie or chilling in her back patio area. She enjoys collecting Native American jewelry, quilts, music and loves to play bingo when she remembers what day it happens. Jessica shared, "I am excited to begin this new adventure with the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation Education Department. I am wholeheartedly looking forward to helping our native children and their families lives improve. "
