SAVE THE DATE: DEE-NI' NIGHT AND DAY, SEPT 9 & 10, 2022 Tribal Citizens, We have some great news. We are planning for our beloved Dee-ni' Night and Day events. New this year is Dee-ni' Night for Kids which will be held on Friday, September 9th during the duration of Dee-ni' Night. This night is available as an option to families that would like their kids to have a special kid friendly version of Dee-ni' Night. Dinner will be served, there will be games, language activities, a movie and more! Children must be potty trained to attend, suggested ages 3-13, serving up to 30 youth. Please RSVP to attend. Doors open at the Howonquet Hall Community Center at 4:15, children need picked up no later than 8:30pm. Tribal gifts for kids will be passed out at this event at the time of sign in. Activities are sponsored by Community and Family Wellness and Education. The regular more formal, Dee-ni' Night will be held on Friday, September 9th at the Tolowa Event Center inside Lucky 7 Casino. The doors will open at 4:30 with dinner starting at 5:30. We encourage you to get there early as seating is limited in the Tolowa Event Center. Max capacity is 240 guests. In addition to a dinner, the Nation will be honoring our eldest elders, our tolowa veterans and our 2022 tribal graduates. We invite you and your family for an evening of honoring and gathering.

Dee-ni' Day will be the following day across from Lucky 7 Casino at the Howonquet Hall Community Center from 10am4pm. This day is open to the public and the entire community to enjoy. There will be craft and food vendors, cultural demonstrations, kids activities, stick games, indigenous works show and more. Parking is limited at Howonquet Hall to our elders. We ask that those that are able to please park in the overflow parking at the cemetary, the basketball court, UIHS or across the street at Lucky 7 Casino. When walking across Highway 101 to and from Lucky 7 Casino, Fuel Mart and the Dee-ni' Day event please use the cross walk and please be cautious of fast moving vehicles.
