Community Profile Once the No. VI stop on the railroad between Detroit and Lansing, today’s Novi is a dynamic community! Novi’s population, which grew by 32.3% since 1990, is testament to the fact that “Novi is the fastest growing city in the State of Michigan.” The median household income in Novi is among the highest in metro Detroit. Novi is one of Southeast Michigan’s most vibrant areas in a region that revels with historic charm and industrial might. With major shopping, entertainment, and numerous recreation possibilities, the city of Novi provides big city amenities and country charm.
