Use this guide to supplement your visit for your individual needs.

Accessibility Resources
TMA offers a range of services to ensure an inclusive experience:
Social Narrative Guides: Available for events, exhibitions, and tours to support diverse needs.
Touch Tours: Free guided tours for blind and low-vision guests, offering hands-on engagement with sculptures in the TMA galleries, accompanied by trained docents.
Bloomberg Connects: Use the Bloomberg Connects app to navigate, hear expert insights, and access accessibility resources—all from your phone. For more information, visit toledomuseum.org/visit/accessibility

Gallery Guidelines
For first aid, see any Protective Services team member.
Backpacks, umbrellas, and other bulky items should be left with an entrance guard or in a coatroom locker.
Please do not touch the art. Maintain at least 24 inches from art and cases. Object protection alarms may sound if you get too close.
Non-flash photography is welcome throughout the museum.
When writing or sketching in the galleries, only pencils may be used.
Food, drinks, and gum are not permitted in gallery spaces.
We welcome service animals at the Toledo Museum of Art. For the safety of the art, water and dog treats are not allowed in gallery spaces.
Nursing and Changing Tables
A wellness room in Herrick Lobby is available as a private area for nursing. Changing tables are available in all restrooms. An adult changing table is available in the lower-level single-user wheelchair-accessible restroom in the Green Building.
Sensory Kits and Noise-Canceling Headphones
Sensory kits and noise-canceling headphones are available to borrow at our Visitor Services desks. Kits provide multiple fidgets to keep sensory-seeking visitors occupied. Noise-canceling headphones and sensory kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are sanitized after each use.
Mobility
Wheelchairs and walkers are available to borrow at no charge for guests with limited mobility. Please see a Visitor Services or Protective Services team member to request one.

Travel Between Buildings
When traveling between the Glass Pavilion and the Green Building, utilize our accessible Sculpture Garden pathways or your vehicle.
Pedestrians can follow the indicated paths on the map (back cover) for accessible walking and rolling routes:
If traveling by car, we suggest parking in Lots 1 and 6 for shorter walking distances.
Service Animals
We welcome service animals at the Toledo Museum of Art.
For the safety of the art, water and dog treats are not allowed in gallery spaces. Soft, low-crumb training treats are only allowed in Herrick Lobby, the TMA Café, or near the Family Center areas. Water breaks for dogs are permitted at water fountains:
Seating
Bench seating is available in most galleries throughout the museum. Borrow a foldable stool in Libbey Court and the Glass Pavilion to bring with you throughout your visit.
Restrooms
Single-use restrooms are located on the lower and upper levels of the Green Building and the main level of the Glass Pavilion. All restrooms are accessible and contain wheelchairaccessible stalls. Accessible family restrooms are indicated as .
