You Can Change a Life Even though 2020 has brought a lot of changes to our lives, Christmas is still a great time of year to invest in our community! By working together last year, we raised $34,590, partnered with 11 organizations, and provided over 850 gifts to local kids & families! This year we want to continue to provide opportunities to go above and beyond by giving in ways that truly make a difference. In this catalog, you’ll find various gifts for several of our local partners to help meet specific needs they have all year long. This year we added a bonus gift that will go international to one of our Calvary missionaries! Every gift makes a difference when we all work together. The process is easy! In 2019, Lucas County Children Services provided services to 13,654 children. These children live in crisis all year long and come from homes with challenges like substance abuse, domestic violence, or absent parenting. When their lives get turned upside down often they are simply given a trash bag to carry their belongings as they are pulled from their home. Be a part of changing the way these children experience the foster care system by providing them with their own bag and a few essential items to bring with them as they are displaced from their homes and families.

In January 2020, more than 640 people were living in Lucas County homeless shelters with the number growing since then. Help our local shelters by providing essential items they use every single day to care for those in need.

Deciding whether or not to choose life is often just the beginning of the journey when a woman finds herself in an unplanned pregnancy. Help save the lives of unborn children in Toledo by giving hope and support through our local ministry partners as they provide everything from free ultrasounds to parenting classes.

Our Local 419 Partners Love-A-School Calvary’s ministry in local schools. When we love the next generation, we can change our city! We are committed to investing in the lives of the students, staff, and families at our partner schools. Feed the 419 Every month, Calvary has the privilege to love our community by providing food and serving meals to those in need. Adult & Teen Challenge of Northwest Ohio Meeting people exactly where they are in their recovery process by providing weekly accountability and discipleship groups for those wanting to recover from addiction. Mosaic Ministries Walking families through all seasons of life by providing education, food, counseling, prayer, and much more to those in need in South Toledo. They are passionate about seeing life change from the cradle to career. Pregnancy Care Center of Greater Toledo A non-profit organization providing hope and healing to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission and Rebecca’s Haven Providing night-to-night shelter for homeless men with a message of hope and nutritious meals. Vision Ministries A church whose mission is to share their faith in Christ by giving hope to others. They have ministries for each age group to meet each unique person at their level.
Water for Ishmael Partnering with the local church to build a welcoming community for internationals, share the love of Christ, and to empower internationals with skills to become successful. Cherry Street Mission Ministries Delivering solutions that will reverse the cycle of poverty for people in our communities through purposeful discipleship and restoration of hope while releasing God’s greatness. Keep Watch Providing resources to equip and mobilize your community to pray in our local schools, with the confident expectation that God will move and bring change. Covered A faith-based organization that exists to educate, advocate, and empower women affected by domestic violence, sexual exploitation, and trafficking. Journey of the Heart A comprehensive One2One mentoring program, free of charge, through which women discover Hope and Healing for their everyday lives. Spirit of Faith Adoptions A Christian adoption agency serving all of Ohio CRU and CHI ALPHA Ministries that exist on the campus of our local universities and colleges with the goal of leading students to Christ and discipling them. Children’s Outreach Ministries Reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling them in the Word of God, and helping establish them in the local church.
