2025 LEAD PASTOR’S ANNUAL REPORT
Near the end of 2025, I sensed the Holy Spirit leading me to this passage from Luke 1.Although it is found in the Christmas story, it communicates a truth that is universal to all times and places: there are some things that only God can do.
As we look back on 2025, we see a year of God working in the life of Calvary Church in ways that only He can.
Only God can change lives! That is at the heart of who we are as a church. For nearly 75 years, Calvary Church has existed so that lost people will find life in Jesus Christ. As you will see in this report, through the teaching of God’s Word and the ministry of God’s people, lives are being changed at Calvary every day.
Only God can provide for His people the way we saw in 2025. Through the generosity of Calvary’s people and the miraculous provision of the Lord, Calvary experienced a year of record giving. The financial reports will show how God’s provision is reaching people in Northwest Ohio and around the world. Through the Room For More initiative, over $3,000,000 was given in 2025 to expand our facilities to reach and disciple more people. Praise God!
Only God can work through His people the way we see at Calvary. I am so thankful to serve with so many faithful and gifted people. From ministering to babies to loving the 419, so many of you give of yourselves because People are the Priority. Thank you!
Only God can impact generations for eternity. Healthy things grow, and Calvary’s ministry to children, youth, and young adults continues to prioritize discipling all generations to know and live for Jesus. In 2025, we saw many saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and equipped as followers of Jesus Christ.
Only God can sustain a church for 75 years. This coming December, Calvary will celebrate 75 years of God’s faithfulness. Special moments are being planned throughout 2026 to reflect on His goodness, culminating in a celebration weekend,December 4–6. That a 75-yearold church is thriving and reaching people the way Calvary is today is a testimony to the power of God alone.
Only God can lead us into the future. These are exciting days! In the words of Calvary’s former pastor, Rev. J. Donald McManness, “We stand on the threshold of unprecedented opportunity.” Calvary’s future Sanctuary will be a place where God is worshipped and the Holy Spirit changes lives. The new Kids Ministry space will be filled with children experiencing the presence of Jesus. In our new classrooms, believers will be equipped to live out their faith. The best is truly yet to come!
Rhonda and I are so honored that the Lord would allow us to be part of what He is doing at Calvary Church. Calvary’s Deacon Board, Pastoral Team, and Church Staff are committed leaders, and it is a privilege to serve alongside them. We are regularly reminded that what God is doing at Calvary is very special, and we are deeply grateful for the gift of serving together with you.
May God richly bless you with His favor and peace,
Respectfully submitted, FOR NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD — Luke 1:37 (ESV)
