2024 Lead Pastor’s Annual Report

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according To his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in christ jesus Throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. — Ephesians 3:20-21 (niv)

As we reflect on 2024, we can clearly see God’s favor and blessing at work in Calvary Church. This past fall, we revisited our four core values—our roots—that define who we are and guide what we do. With those in mind, here are some highlights from the past year:

GOD FIRST. Our desire in all we do is to bring glory to God. Through Sunday worship, prayer, and preaching, He is exalted, and we are strengthened as a body of believers.Personally, I found our time studying the person and work of the Holy Spirit in September and October to be especially powerful, as many experienced life-changing moments in their faith.

PEOPLE ARE THE PRIORITY. As reflected throughout this report, Calvary continues to be a church that loves and serves others. Hundreds participated in Serve Week, demonstrating God’s love to the city and schools of Maumee. Your hard work and prayers have left a lasting physical and spiritual impact. Additionally, through your generosity, Calvary gave over $700,000 to missions, allowing people around the world to experience transformation through Jesus Christ.

HEALTHY THINGS GROW. Discipling the next generation remains a top priority. Every week, hundreds of preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students grow in their relationships with Jesus and with each other. Our 100+ Life Groups, Support Groups, and classes continue to provide spaces where believers mature in their faith and become more like Christ.

WE GET TO DO THIS. I’m incredibly grateful for the hundreds of people who don’t have to serve—but get to serve—Jesus and others at Calvary. Your sacrifice, love, and dedication are making an eternal impact.

The coming year promises to be a historic and exciting season for Calvary Church. God continues to entrust us with more—we are witnessing growth in our church family, more lives being transformed, and more opportunities to reach people with the gospel. Lord willing, in 2025, we will begin to make Room For More, creating space for even more people to find Jesus at Calvary.

Rhonda and I consider it an incredible privilege to serve alongside you. I am deeply grateful for our Board, Pastoral Team, and Church Staff—amazing individuals who love Jesus and serve with wholehearted dedication. It is an honor to call them teammates. We are humbled by all that God is doing at Calvary and look forward with anticipation to all He has in store.

May God bless you with His special favor and wonderful peace.

Respectfully submitted,
