Have you ever wondered what everyday life is like for people who are part of a minority? Storytelling is a great method to make people aware of the challenges that minorities face around the world, because stories can have an impact on a person's emotions and also encourage them to take action.

The story of Viktor – a boy born in the wrong society

Once upon a time, there was a person belonging to the LGBTQ community, named Viktor. He lived in a small village and was afraid to reveal his personality. He had just joined the village high school. At first he was happy, having lots of friends and chatting with girls, because he was afraid of being judged for who he was. One of his favorite hobbies was theatre and one of the plays was about a gay couple, in which he got the main role. After that, he went back to his normal self, but he fell in love with a classmate of his. He decided to reveal his feelings, but the boy rejected him and told everyone what had happened. Viktor's life started falling apart, because his family and friends had rejected him. Going from a model student to being expelled, he became depressed and attempted suicide, which didn't succeed. Conclusion – Be more tolerant, because everyone deserves happiness.

The story of vertically challenged Visok

Once upon a time there was a midget called Visok, who lived in Distopia. He was so small that when it rained he was always the last one to get wet and he could fit in the clothes of a five years old. Everyday he was bullied for his height, even his parents abandoned him the day he was born because his mother thought she gave birth to a walnut. His parents put him in a bowl with other nuts on a table. Visok grew up with the only midget family in Distopia, but they died and he was the only remaining midget in the country. One day he found a box, which contained a poster of a family of midgets being successful. Visok felt a spark of hope and he became a judge, but nothing changed as people didn't take him seriously. His self confidence was going down as he was getting more and more hopeless. An unknown source narrates that the very last words the walnut heard were the ones said by a mother to her son: "Eat my darling, eat, so that you can grow big"

Refugee Family

Once upon a time there was a poor family that had to save money for a surgery because the kid had breathing problems. Every day they were trying their best in order to be able to afford this surgery. The parents of the family applied for jobs that offer better salaries andalthough the kids were still students they got part - time jobs. But one day a war started in their country, so they were forced leave. They had to pack their luggage and to think of a place to go and stay for a while. Today the family is living in a foreign country, working 24/7 hours, barely getting by. The surgery got delayed and stopped being a priority. Unfortunately the kid still has breathing problems and the family can't the cure.

Drug addicted woman

Once upon a time, there was a drug addicted woman, named Christina Asus and she was living in a small village called Ommen in the Netherlands. Christina was also working for a small tobacco company, and she had a low income. Every day she was taking different kind of drugs so she could consecrate better. But one day Christina ran out of drugs. She heard about a man that was selling them for a lower price. Christina contacted the person via a friend of hers and she arranged a meeting. Arriving to the place she saw her boss from work. Miss Asus was surprised to see him and she had an idea:"Maybe I can take advantage of him", so she started flirting with her boss and they got into a relationship. As the time went by, the boss started losing feelings for Christina so he asked her to break up. "If we brake up I will run out of my free supplies", she thought and Christina quickly came up with a plan: "I AM PREGNANT", she yelled. The boss felt guilty leaving her and they tried stayed together for the sake of the kid. Everything was going smoothly but the boss later found out that Christina was using him for her personal satisfaction and he killed her.
