Community Funds are coming back in 2025!
Do you have an idea for a project or initiative to address anti-Black racism in your community?
The Centre for Advancing the Interests of Black People (“The Centre”) is offering funding opportunities for tenant engagement initiatives. The Centre Community Funds support projects that align with the Confronting Anti-Black Racism (CABR) Strategy and its eight-point plan, providing essential resources to empower tenantled efforts in addressing anti-Black racism.

E-bike use, safe charging, and you!
Please take our virtual survey and share your valuable input on e-bikes in our communities, including tenant use and any safety concerns you have.
Your feedback will help us develop our policy and procedures for the safe storage and charging of tenant e-bikes on TCHC property. You do not need to own an e-bike to do this survey!
Your answers are anonymous. We want to know: do you have an e-bike? how and where do you charge your e-bike? are there safety measures you want to see in your building for e-bike use and storage? and more! tchc.qrd.by/ebike-survey
Scan the QR code or visit to take the survey. The survey will close on Thursday, May 29 at 11.59 p.m.

Fire safety hazards
Never stack items so high that they may fall over. Keep a one-metre-wide pathway to your unit door from the kitchen, bedroom and, if applicable, the balcony. This will allow for a safe escape in the event of a fire. Tenants who would like help reducing the clutter in their units can contact the Client Care Centre at 416-981-5500 for assistance.

Weligaa ha saarin alaabaha meel aad u sarraysa oo laga yaabo inay ka soo dhacaan. U dhaxaysii dariiq ilaa hal mitir ah qaybta albaabkaaga iyo jikada, qolka jiifka iyo, haddii ay khuseyso, balakoonka. Tani waxay u oggolaan doontaa in si badbaado leh looga baxsado haddii uu dab kaco.
