She is an author who writes while working as an office worker. She specializes in BL novels, among others, but has also won various literary awards. The photo shows her receiving the 171st Naoki Prize.

Yuto, a man who gave up graduating from college, is working in a red-light district as a tout. He is spoken to by a woman who claimed herself as a classmate who should have been dead. What will he do, confused by the contradiction between his memory and what she said? The title "Sin-demic" is a coined word combined with "sin" and "pandemic," suggesting crimes committed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Six short independent stories are collected, each focusing on how people feel, behave, and become guilty during the pandemic. This collection of stories won the Naoki Prize, one of Japan's most honorable prizes, in July 2024.
