CENTENNIAL - CEDAR BAY BEACH 2767 Vimy Road

Revamped in 1967 by the former Township of Humberstone’s Centennial Project, Centennial Park is a 46-acre park overlooking Centennial-Cedar Bay Beach. It is located on Vimy Road at the southern end of Cedar Bay Road, off Highway #3. Features include 2 outdoor picnic pavilions, washrooms, tennis courts, volleyball courts including beach volleyball, horseshow rings and a sandy beach.

NICKEL BEACH Located on Lake Erie at the southern end of Welland Street at Lake Street, beach goers will enjoy the beauty of Nickel Beach. Aside from being one of the few remaining destinations in Ontario that allows vehicles to park directly on the beach. Nickel Beach offers great trails throughout sand dunes and Carolinian Forest. Public washrooms open during seasonal operational hours listed below. Come out and enjoy some fun in the sun at Nickel Beach!

Nickel Beach is operational year-round for walk-ons. Seasonal vehicle access on beach opens 7 days per week from Victoria Day long weekend (weather permitting) to Labour Day long weekend.

Mondays - Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Fridays - Sundays & Holiday Mondays: 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Open weekends only from Labour Day long weekend to September 29th, 2019, 10 a.m. - 6p.m.

Note: Vehicle access/operations may be closed at any given time based on inclement weather. Note: alcohol and pets are not permitted on the beach.

Spend the whole summer or the weekend at the Long Beach Conservation Area on Lake Erie. Features include a sandy beach and 225 serviced and unserviced campsites. Launch your boat, fish, play bocce ball, horseshoes, baseball, or just enjoy your picnic while the children swim or play on the playground. The abundant beach shoreline is Long Beach’s main attraction. The sand and pebble beach is a natural playground for those who swim, sunbathe, boat, sail, fish, sailboard, jet-ski, etc. The list is only limited by the imagination. Visitors can stroll the shoreline or open a lawn chair in the shade to enjoy nature’s air-conditioner – the great Lake Erie breeze!
