Q: What is the most rewarding part of your career?
A: The most rewarding part of my career is the ability to bring financial planning and investment advice to people who would generally not have access due to their location or net worth. With Mariner Wealth Advisors’ technology and resources, we can serve individuals and families in both metropolitan and rural areas. I enjoy helping our clients. The look on client’s faces when we deliver good news—whether it’s confirmation they can retire early or we have found a way to help save them money on taxes—is always a great moment.
Q: When is an individual or family ready to engage Mariner Wealth Advisors?
A: There are several situations that may bring a client to have a conversation with us at Mariner Wealth Advisors. More often than not, retirement or a large liquidity event such as selling a property or a business is what drives someone to seek a wealth management professional. Our wealth advisors can build a comprehensive wealth plan around these life events, which includes investment management, tax planning and estate planning.
Q: What do you like doing in your free time?
A: When I’m not helping clients achieve their goals, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our newborn daughter and playing some golf here and there.
