Complexions of the Atmosphere TOBY SHORT

2019 exhibition of artist sculptor Toby Short brings scenes from the not too distance economical crisis in Greece to life using the ancient art of relief sculpting. These wall hanging sculptures utilise the tactile pictorial form of trompe l'oeil to tell everyday stories. Releif sculpture extends the image into three dimensions giving the viewer a sense of the tangible.
