Tour Stop #2 Established in 1983, Green Lake Nursery is a wholesale grower serving garden centers, wholesale nurseries, landscape contractors, grounds maintenance companies, and botanical gardens across Texas. We offer outdoor perennials, seasonal color and natives, along with ferns, groundcovers, succulents, grasses, xeric plants, and vines. Our extensive annual and perennial selection has been refined through years of trial and study. Green Lake Nursery operates two locations: our North Texas facility in Seagoville, TX—just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas—provides regular deliveries throughout the DFW Metroplex and beyond as needed. Our Central Texas location near San Marcos serves the area between Austin and San Antonio, with regular deliveries to Houston, East Texas, and Oklahoma City. Tour Stop #3 In 1984, Michael Ruibal began selling bedding plants from a small truck and a 10’x20’ space at the Dallas Farmers Market. One truckload and one customer at a time, a reputation for quality quickly grew. More than three decades later, the entire Ruibal family continues that tradition of excellence in both service and plant quality. That small daily space has grown into an entire city block, with multiple trucks unloading daily and a plant farm of nearly 130 greenhouses across almost 30 acres —producing high-quality bedding plants within the Dallas city limits. Today, Ruibal’s locations include their original Dallas Farmers Market site, a second shop near White Rock Lake, the Lemmon Avenue greenhouse location, and the Rosemeade Market in Far North Dallas. From locally grown plants and perennials to pottery, statuary, planting services, delivery, and even fresh produce, Ruibal’s continues to grow while staying rooted in quality.
