Charity Impact Report 2025

To Be a Good Company
As a global organisation with a strong and growing international presence, we recognise the importance of contributing positively to the communities around us. Our charity programme is designed to create lasting impact by combining financial support with initiatives that actively involve our people, encouraging learning, participation and inspiration at every level. We partner with charities where our support can deliver meaningful, long-term benefits, reflecting our commitment to responsible and sustainable community engagement.
At Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI), we are proud to support a diverse range of charitable organisations throughout the UK and Europe. The following highlights bring our impact to life through the numbers behind the year.

Pillars & Partnerships
While we support a large number of charitable organisations, we concentrate most of our efforts on nine key charity partners across the UK.
By working closely with each partner, we align our support to four core charity pillars: Community Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, and Environmental Impact
Using the Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) framework, we surveyed our charity partners to understand and measure the impact of our activities throughout 2025.

Pick a Project One
Year On
Our Pick a Project initiative provides the opportunity for one of our charity partners to secure funding to help get a specific project off the ground, in addition to TMHCCI’s annual partners donation.
Our 2024 winner was The Wickers with their project, Rhyme Safe
Rhyme Safe provides a dedicated studio space for vulnerable young people aged 9-21 to express themselves through music, video editing and podcast creation in a safe environment.
Over the course of 2025, over 50 young people engaged with the project, with many participants attending over 40 sessions during the year.
After evaluating the impact of the project, The Wickers noted the following wellbeing and behaviour changes in participants:
• Increased confidence and self-esteem
• Stronger communication and social skills
• A reduction in incidents of antisocial behaviour among regular attendees
• Increased engagement with school or employability opportunities for participants previously at risk of exclusion

“The studio became more than just a place to make music – it has become a second home. Week after week, young people returned not only to develop their artistic skills but to be heard, supported, and mentored in a safe and structured environment.
“The outcomes go far beyond music: participants have grown in confidence, stayed off the streets, formed meaningful relationships, and found a voice through creativity.”
Sam Bosede, Director of Operations, The Wickers

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.

At Tokio Marine HCC International, we are committed to playing an active role in building a sustainable future. By connecting our hyper-local initiatives to the broader UN SDGs, we gain a clearer understanding of where and how we can make a meaningful impact.
