On a less positive note, the water/sewer revenue through June has made no improvement as it continues to track 11% below the original budget and 6% below the amended budget. It is anticipated however that as the higher water demand season kicks in, a recovery will be forthcoming in that area. He noted how due to the EMT’s patience and concerned care for his wife, extra time with medical testing was taken which led to the discovery of a cardiac condition which had been overlooked by previous medical personnel. The EMT advised a heart specialist to be consulted with the information of the condition uncovered. After he spoke, Fire Chief Scott Ridling noted that July 15, 2022 marks 20 years of EMS service in Bonham.
