was a protest involving special exceptions. Judge Moore then clarified that today’s hearing was covering the change of zoning request. James Richey with Richey Development Engineering in McKinney came to the podium on behalf of his client to answer any questions regarding the rezoning request. The owner of the property also came to the podium to note that at some point he would like to address the protest to the special exception request made for his property. When there were no questions forthcoming involving the zoning change request, Judge Moore asked for an adjournment motion. 3. Adjourn: Motion was made, seconded and passed to adjourn the Public Hearing at 8:25 a.m. On the same day at 8:30 a.m., County Judge Randy Moore called to order the Public Meeting of the Bois d’Arc Lake Zoning Commission. Noting that Quorum had been established earlier in the Public Hearing, Judge Moore asked if there were any who would like to speak during Public Forum. There were no speakers. 3. Approve meeting minutes from 06/02/2022 Public Hearing and Regular Meetings: A motion was made by Commission Member Gilbert Welch to approve the minutes with Commission Member Kevin Darwin seconding the motion which passed. 4. Discussion, consideration and action to approve a change in zoning application; 25.08 acres, Property ID# 78153 on old FM 1396 in Windom, from Agriculture & Ranching District to Rural Estate Single Family District and recommend to Commissioners Court for approval: Judge Moore noted this item was covering only the zoning change and asked if there were any wishing to comment. After a brief discussion with Judge Moore reiterating this decision was strictly about the zoning change request that was addressed during the public hearing, Gilbert Welch made the motion to recommend the approval of this zoning change request to the Commissioners Court. His motion was seconded by Kevin Darwin and the motion passed. 5. Discussion, consideration and action to set a public hearing to hear comments regarding a change in zoning request from RE, Rural Estate SingleFamily District to R&C, Retail and Commercial; 2.4819 acres on Property ID# 78364 and 3.8860 acres on Property ID# 78366 in Telephone: Judge Moore noted that the probable date for this hearing would be Thursday, August 4th at 8:20 a.m. Continued See Bois on page 4
