Bonham hosts – Prelude to Growth Briefing
(Bonham, Texas February 10, 2020) Sanchez & Associates in concert with the City of Bonham and Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCo) hosted Bonham-based
real estate brokers, bankers and representatives of Fannin County and Bonham ISD Friday morning at a special briefing designed to engage and update attendees on the emerging recommen-
dations regarding Bonham’s development policies and procedures. Brokers or agents from each of Bonham’s real estate firms joined local bankers in the interactive session.

Mark Kinnaird, Director of Community Development for the City of Bonham, stressed the advantages of growing the tax base through neighborhood revitalization efforts, limited targeted incentives and an overall strategy of balanced growth (roof-tops, rail, and targeted reinvestment). Kinnaird also highlighted two special events Bonham Developers Conferences – BonDevCon 1 & 2 scheduled for mid-April and early May, focused on residential, then retail/commercial and light industrial developers respectively.
