Commissioners Court Hears Presentation on Justice Center Options By Connie Estes Fannin County Judge Randy Moore opened the regular meeting of the Commissioners Court at 9:01 a.m. A quorum was established, as all Commissioners and the Judge were
present, except for Commissioner Lackey. The invocation was led by Rev. Shelton from Trinity Baptist Church in Bonham. The pledges were led by Maj. James Manis. There were no introductions and no one spoke in Public Forum.
6 Discussion, consideration and action regarding the Fannin County Declaration of Disaster Proclamation for Covid-19– Judge Moore gave the current numbers, as of the meeting date, for Covid cases in the County. 778 Total Cases,

of the County to finance a Justice Center – Mr. McLiney presented a mock-up of the financial impact on County taxes when a County Justice Center is actually designed and begun. His presentation was based on a $10 million project, which was simply a number he went used. There is no official estimated cost or even a plan at this time.
