TMC NEWS
DRIVER OF THE QUARTER: PETE ARZOUMANIAN
With more than 10 years’ safe driving and 745,000 safe miles, Pete Arzoumanian is a great example of TMC’s commitment to excellence. And as a driver trainer at TMC, he’s passing on his skills and TMC’s culture to the next generation of flatbed drivers. “Pete puts 100% into everything he does, and it shows, not just to me, but to everyone in Operations and Customer Service,” says Amber Reynolds, his fleet manager. Congratulations to Pete for being named Driver of the Third Quarter! Read more on our blog!

LOGISTICS EMPLOYEE-OWNER OF THE THIRD QUARTER: BEN SIEGEL
Logistics Sales Executive II Ben Siegel is a pillar of TMC Logistics’ Columbia office in more ways than one. Not only is he one of the office’s top-performing sales reps, he’s also a leader and role model on the sales team, and he demonstrates TMC’s values every day. “Ben takes a lot of pride and invests a lot of himself personally in his business relationships,” says General Manager Julian Montague. We’re proud to recognize Ben as the Logistics Employee-Owner of the Third Quarter! Read more on our blog!
ROOKIE OF THE THIRD QUARTER: THANG LIAN
For Thang Lian, 2025 was a year of new challenges—and new successes—as he began his flatbed driving career. He’s persevered through challenges and applied what he learned in training—with great results. “What I noticed from Thang in his first month was his work ethic,” says Operations Manager Zach Mulder. “He is not only a safe driver, but very respectful to his peers and customers, always willing to help.” Congratulations to Thang for being named Rookie of the Quarter! In addition, TMC was also named a 2026 Military Friendly Spouse Employer for our work to attract, hire, and support military spouses. THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT TMC
We wrapped up the year with some holiday traditions that celebrated the season and made a difference for our communities!
• We sent care packages to members of the military.
• Our offices and shops held a food drive for local food banks.
• We raised over $2000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in our annual holiday raffle.

And we were also lucky enough to have Santa visit the Des Moines terminal!
BLACK AND CHROME SALUTES
“An extremely knowledgeable, smart young driver proficient in clearly and accurately teaching the driver requirements and skillful load-securing specifications that exceed the demands TMC has set forth—something the truck driving profession severely lacks in most other companies. Good job, TMC, for employing this brilliant young man within your awesome fleet.”
-Brandon Falcone to Eddie Andrews Jr
“I wanted to give a shout out to Zack Freeman for showing what a true brother looks like. I was at a consignee this morning in Kansas City, Kansas, and as soon as I pulled in, Zack and his trainee Tyler jumped out and started to help me get my securement off of the load. Zack not only showed what it means to be a team player, but also taught his trainee how we are to take care of each other out here. He’s a great example of the kind of driver that we need in our fleet.”
-Marcus Rich to Zack Freeman
“Helped me figure out how to turn around at a shop I have never been to. Got out of his truck and took the time to be a ground guide for me. Really appreciated his help when he didn’t have to.”
-Alexander Johnson to Martin Moore
“I can definitely see why Mr. Michael is a master of driver training. I was simply looking at how he effortlessly was able to wrap his aluminum coils like a perfect Christmas present. He got wind of my curiosity, and to my surprise, he came to my truck and helped me step by step with removing all the excess slack from my aluminum coils. I normally just fold up the slack and put a piece of dunnage on it. Not today. Thanks to Mr. Mike, I now know how to tarp this load in style. PS. I’ll be sure to pass all the tips along. Thank you, sir.”
-Allen Bean to Michael McAlister
“I saw him at a pick-up location. He answered every question and offered to let me watch him do his load to get a solid idea, so when my load came up, I’d be more confident. He also helped lay out my rails and explained his reasoning behind why and where. Good guy. Great representative of the Black and Chrome.”
-Cody Pitts to Joseph Cunz
“Helped me, a new driver, with swapping trailers and giving a lot of backing tips. He was patient and very good at instructing. He should be a trainer.”
-Matthew Landess to Austin Clinton
“I’ve had the privilege of having two separate encounters with this Marine and exemplary driver, in both of which he helped with my tarps and securement without hesitation. Not only did he do this for me and other drivers as well, but he was extremely helpful in guidance to our deliveries, which I had not been to, and his unselfishness speaks volumes about his character. We need more Andrew Dunbars with TMC. Thank you, kind sir, and as always, stay Semper Fi.”
-Daniel Zapata to Andrew Dunbar
“Brownsburg shop is always a pleasure to work with—great attitudes and always gets accomplished what needs to be done.”
-Thomas Brandenburg to the Brownsburg maintenance shop
“It was snowy and cold in Baltimore, Maryland, and David helped me scrape the ice off my deck. While walking by my truck, he also noticed my tire looked slightly deflated and checked on it with a tire gauge. He used his inflatable glad hand hose to bring my steering tire pressure back to normal and make my truck safe for the road. I appreciate David going out of his way to help me in the cold, and I will pay it forward by helping another driver in need—that’s the TMC way.”
-Derek Parks to David Parent
“Brandon saw that I was struggling as a first-week driver and really gave me sound advice and helped me multiple times with an issue that I to call Road Repair for. An outstanding guy! Thank you for your assistance and guidance.”
-Clark Searle to Brandon Martin
