Logistics Sales Executive II Ben Siegel is a pillar of TMC Logistics’ Columbia office in more ways than one. Not only is he one of the office’s top-performing sales reps, he’s also a leader and role model on the sales team, and he demonstrates TMC’s values every day. “Ben takes a lot of pride and invests a lot of himself personally in his business relationships,” says General Manager Julian Montague. ROOKIE OF THE THIRD QUARTER: THANG LIAN

For Thang Lian, 2025 was a year of new challenges—and new successes—as he began his flatbed driving career. He’s persevered through challenges and applied what he learned in training—with great results. “What I noticed from Thang in his first month was his work ethic,” says Operations Manager Zach Mulder. “He is not only a safe driver, but very respectful to his peers and customers, always willing to help.”

THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT TMC We wrapped up the year with some holiday traditions that celebrated the season and made a difference for our communities!

• We sent care packages to members of the military.

• Our offices and shops held a food drive for local food banks.

• We raised over $2000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in our annual holiday raffle.

And we were also lucky enough to have Santa visit the Des Moines

terminal!

I was at a consignee this morning in Kansas City, Kansas, and as soon as I pulled in, Zack and his trainee Tyler jumped out and started to help me get my securement off of the load. Zack not only showed what it means to be a team player, but also taught his trainee how we are to take care of each other out here. He’s a great example of the kind of driver that we need in our fleet.”

-Alexander Johnson to Martin Moore “I can definitely see why Mr. Michael is a master of driver training. I was simply looking at how he effortlessly was able to wrap his aluminum coils like a perfect Christmas present. He got wind of my curiosity, and to my surprise, he came to my truck and helped me step by step with removing all the excess slack from my aluminum coils. I normally just fold up the slack and put a piece of dunnage on it. Not today. Thanks to Mr. Mike, I now know how to tarp this load in style. PS. I’ll be sure to pass all the tips along. Thank you, sir.”

Not only did he do this for me and other drivers as well, but he was extremely helpful in guidance to our deliveries, which I had not been to, and his unselfishness speaks volumes about his character. We need more Andrew Dunbars with TMC. -Thomas Brandenburg to the Brownsburg maintenance shop “It was snowy and cold in Baltimore, Maryland, and David helped me scrape the ice off my deck. While walking by my truck, he also noticed my tire looked slightly deflated and checked on it with a tire gauge. He used his inflatable glad hand hose to bring my steering tire pressure back to normal and make my truck safe for the road. I appreciate David going out of his way to help me in the cold, and I will pay it forward by helping another driver in need—that’s the TMC way.”
