Application Step 1. Start with the brace opened flat, with the interior facing upwards.

Step 2. Remove and then refit the wings on the right and left sides, conforming to the patient’s waist size. indicated by #1 (Small) through #7 (Quadruple XL) Step 3. Apply the LSO at the midpoint of the lower back, ensuring central alignment. Place the left panel over the abdomen at the belly button, the right panel goes over top of the left.

Adjust accordingly.

Step 4. Grasp the two pull-tabs, then adjust tension until the desired level of compression is attained.

Wearing Instructions An LSO is designed to support your back and limit motion in your trunk, which will help to reduce spasms and alleviate pain. It is recommended to wear an LSO for 2 hours then remove for up to 30 minutes and repeat as needed. The Back Support should be worn intermittently with a limit of 6 hours in any 24-hour period unless otherwise directed by your Medical Provider. It is recommended to be worn over a shirt to avoid skin irritation. Do not wear it while bathing or showering.

When using the gel pad, leave the gel pad on the back for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. This duration helps to reduce swelling and alleviate pain effectively. If needed, you can repeat the process after a break of at least 30 minutes.

Application Step 1. In order, unhook the forefoot strap, the mid-foot strap and the mid-shin strap. Velcro each strap onto itself and swivel each of them out of position.

Step 2. Remove the front interior shield and open the softgood. Ensure it’s fitted all the way to the rear of the boot.

Step 3. Have the patient step in and show that their heel is to the back of the softgood and boot.

Step 4. Replace the softgood fit comfortably & replace the interior shield.

Step 5. Refit each of the straps starting with the forefoot, then the mid-foot, then the mid-shin and finally the top shin strap.

Step 6. Now, press the low-force bulb until the desired compression is achieved. If you over compressed, deflate and repeat.

Adjustment: Calf-adjustment is available should you need for any additional girth.

Once all straps have been applied, adjust the tension as necessary for a secure fit.

Wearing Instructions Ensure the foot and ankle area are clean and dry before putting on the boot. Pull on the AFO Undersleeve sock provided with the boot and secure the boot as described in the application instructions.

Wear the boot as directed by your healthcare provider, typically for most of the day or as needed for support during recovery.

Application Step 1. Unfasten all Velcro straps and apply seated with the knee bent. Pull on the KO Undersleeve provided with support. Pull on the support over the undersleeve and position the patella pad on the kneecap and align the hinges with the center of the knee joint.

Step 2. Fasten the calf strap first (this strap prevents slipping) and then the top strap.

Step 3. Fasten the popliteal strap. If slipping occurs, check that the calf strap is above the largest part of the calf muscle and tightened securely.

Wearing Instructions Ensure the knee area is clean and dry before applying the support. Wear the KO Undersleeve provided for added comfort and support and better fit. For general support, the wrap can be worn throughout daily activities but remove it during sleep.
