HEX Elbow Brace

The HEX Elbow Brace controls range of motion and protects against hyperextension, making it the ideal brace for use during high-level activities. With its half-wrap bicep sleeve, the HEX is easy to apply and remove. The posterior straps prevent the brace from migrating, maximizing the product’s effectiveness.

Constructed of comfortable and supportive materials with adjustable strapping for a perfect fit providing the effective support needed for complying with your medical provider’s treatment plan for your recovery.

• Slip-on half-wrap bicep sleeve.

• “X” anterior straps with strap-lock buckle.

• Adjustable hinges to control desired ROM (0° - 40° extension / 45° - 90° flexion).

• Half Airmesh® for breathability and half neoprene for compression.

• Elbow foam padding to protect olecranon process.

Application

Step 1. Loosen the bicep wrap (A), posterior bicep strap (B), posterior forearm strap (C), and the anterior bicep strap (D).

Step 2. Position the arm with approximately 20° flexion with thumb and anterior side of the elbow pointing upward.

Step 3. Slide the brace onto the arm. Position the medial and lateral (inside and outside) side struts so that they are aligned with the centerline of the arm and the hinges are centered over the elbow joint, fasten the bicep wrap (A).

Step 4. Fasten the posterior bicep (B) and forearm straps (C) and the anterior bicep strap (D).

Step 5. Establish the desired angle of extension restriction.

Step 6. Adjust the length of the cross straps to hold the arm at the desired angle by sliding the straps through the plastic buckles, fasten the end tabs.
