This report documents the urban action "Neighbourhood chat" which took place in "Trakiya" district (city of Plovdiv) between 1st June and 15th August 2016. Its major objects of interest were the public space within residential blocks 1, 2 and 3, as well as the local citizens who inhabit the area. The action was planned and executed by the Bulgarian collective "|In|Formal" as part of the annual architectural festival ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK. For the purpose of seeking new ways for transforming and managing the urban environment, in its most recent editions ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK has experimented by interfering with the actual physical settings. These actions aim to develop longer-lasting models and networks incorporating citizens, activists, institutions and spatial environment that would remain after the annual festival ends. The 2016 edition focuses on the citizens' participation in the (re)creation of public space and the local habitat.
