PUMPKIN SPICE When you think of autumn, you can’t help but think of Its characteristic spicy-sweetness has been utilized in a wide variety of food products that are popular in October snacks. FOOD SMART SNACKS
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently published sensible, science-based nutrition standards for snack foods and beverages sold to children at school. Required by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, these new standards will allow schools to provide healthier snack foods while also limiting junk food available.
