SUMMER READING CHALLENGE KICKOFF PARTY AT VARSITY CINEMA!

Join us at Varsity Cinema for a party to kick off the 2023 Summer Reading Challenge and the launch of our Summer Reading Cinema Clubhouse film series! Rosie and a few of her librarian friends will be signing kids up for summer reading (get a free book!), plus contests, and much more fun.

After the party, head into the theater to watch the film, The Bad Guys. Admission to the party is free, and tickets to the movie are $9 for kids, $12 for adults, and every child gets free popcorn!

DMPL librarians picked four book-to-film adaptations, one for each weekend in June, as part of the Varsity’s Cinema Clubhouse series.
