Tips for installation WOOD TYPES

TJEP QUICK-FAST® is suitable and approved for terrace wood species with a density less than 700kg / m3 with a max. wood moisture content of 18%. It can e.g. be pressure impregnated wood, brown impregnated wood, thermo wood / heat treated wood, Siberian larch, pine, douglas and spruce.

Avoid shooting at studs on patio boards and joists as the clamp may curl.

For a beautiful and satisfactory result, it is important that you check the wood moisture content (max. 18%) before installation.

If in doubt, ask your terrace supplier and/or ensure an acclimatization.

Please note, that TJEP QUICK-FAST® can not be used for hard wood!

CORRECT DISTANCE BETWEEN TERRACE BOARDS

≥ 6 mm When installing terrace boards with TJEP QUICK-FAST® a minimum distance of 6mm is recommended to ensure proper ventilation and water drainage.

If in doubt about the proper spacing, ask your terrace supplier and/or ensure an acclimatization.

When installing the first 2 terrace boards with TJEP QUICK-FAST™ along the wall, we always recommend that double joists be fitted, as they cannot be fitted directly.
