About Kitome
Kitome is a leading designer and manufacturer of quality kit homes. Proudly Australian owned and operated since 1996, Kitome have built over 4,000 new homes throughout Australia, New Zealand and the AsiaPacific region from our sales office locations across Australia in NSW, VIC, TAS and QLD. Our expertise centres around providing a professional in-house design service, enabling customisation of either Kitome plans or plans and designs brought to us by our clients and partner builders.
From a developed plan set, we can then supply pre-assembled building components at a pre-determined amount to ensure minimum wastage of materials and an environmentally friendly building solution, along with detailed assembly instructions. The Kitome Builder Partnership Program was established to ensure long-lasting relationships within the construction industry to help deliver high quality and cost-effective building solutions for our valued clients and partner builders.

• Kitome offers a huge range of over 50 standard home designs from 100m2 to 510m2. • We don’t try to convince customers to settle on a design within our range because Kitome can customise any design. • Kitome’s commitment to quality materials and manufacturing ensures that every home is built from the best materials within the client’s available budget. • Kitome is one of the very few suppliers of both timber and steel frame kit homes. • We pride ourselves on our ability to offer a price through a tailored quotation program and manufacture kits to suit. • Kitome proudly offer three stages of supply within our kits, so our clients can choose all three stages or just the stages they want to purchase.

Our builders Dave Giles - builder for 27 years. “My wife and I were trying to get ahead and decided against putting money into super, instead we would create our own managed super by buying some land and building some spec homes using our own designs. We searched for a long time to try and find a company that could accommodate our plans. It wasn’t until we approached Kitome with our plans that we were told it can be done. That was the first time we had heard a company say that we could use our plans. The process was well-organised and build was made easier by having all materials on-site when needed. Being able to get all chippies stand all the frames, then have your roofer in right behind them, the process is fantastic. Kitome only uses quality suppliers which means we don’t have trouble on-site and makes it easy for each trade to slip in behind the quality that they supply. The time saved using Kitome has made a huge difference, I would spend nighttimes drawing up lists of what I had to order, sending out quotes, waiting for replies, revising quotes. I don’t need to do any of that office work anymore. I estimated 90 hours of office work per job was saved by going through Kitome.”

Rest assured, if you ever need to call with a query, you are talking to a team who have both technical and practical experience in the building industry.

Lead sources
Kitome’s lead sources for 2021 are shaded in light purple on the map above. The dark purple indicates 380 new home sales for the same period. The predominance of leads are generated from the eastern states, however a trend of new enquires coming from the central and western states is becoming apparent.

Joining Our Builder Partnership Program
Our expectations
Initially, you will be asked to complete the Builder Partnership Program application, which requests the following • Builder / company details • Insurance details • Regions you are able to build within • Recent customer references • Schedule of rates for building our designs.
Estimate & quoting stage
Approval & construction stage • We expect you to keep in close contact with our Customer Support team, who are responsible for coordinating Kitome’s documentation for approvals and deliveries to site. • Proactively check off materials delivered to site against the manifest of materials, advising Kitome immediately of any shortfalls or damaged items. • Provide feedback – we are always looking for ideas and suggestions to improve the product.
Upon joining the Builder Partnership Program, you will then officially become a part of the Kitome family. • A Kitome Design Consultant will make phone contact with you, and send you the Kitome Concept Drawing & Brief. • Maximum of 10 business days for provision of quote. • Ability to liaise and discuss directly with client, should client wish to speak to the builder rather than converse with a Kitome consultant (non-solicit). • Any work outside of the capabilities of the builder NOT advised prior to quoting will be at the responsibility of the builder themselves. Any exclusions in quotations must be specified at time of quotation.

FAQ Please review our frequently asked questions listed below. Q: Does Kitome assist with finance? A: Yes we do, we have partnered with a number of financial institutions - both public and private - who are able to assist with short-term and long-term loans. Q: If a customer comes to me with their own plan, can I send them to Kitome to do the initial sales process and quote? A: Of course you can. Let our Design Consultants do what they do best – sell, which leaves you time to do what you do best – build. Q: I have builder mates all over the country that may be interested in putting up your kits. What do I tell them? A: T hat’s an easy one – get them to contact us straight away, or pass their details to us, and we will contact them directly. We’re always looking to expand our builder network, and with a growing number of Design Consultants located throughout the country, we would love to talk to builders in every state and territory. If you refer a builder who is successfully accredited and completes their first job, you will be entitled to further rewards as a valued member of our partnership program.
