COMMISSIONING BRIEFING

The Education Services Center offers a bi-monthly Commissioning Briefing. The next briefing will occur on 4 NOV 21 @ 9:00 a.m., bldg. 201SE. The briefing is designed to guide Service members through the variety of commissioning programs, provide an understanding of the “whole person” concept, provide basic eligibility requirements, and offer selectability advice. INTERSERVICE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (IPAP) 2022

The Air Force is accepting applications for the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP). This advanced medical training program is a unique, multi-service opportunity available to active duty enlisted and officer applicants from any career field within the Department of the Air Force. IPAP offers an accelerated path towards a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from the program’s underwriter, the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY (USAFA) LEADERS ENCOURAGING AIRMEN DEVELOPMENT (LEAD) COMMISSIONING PROGRAM

The LEAD Program is an ongoing effort to give the Air and Space Forces’ best and brightest junior enlisted personnel the opportunity to attend the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The program, initiated by General Fogleman in 1995, delegates authority to unit commanders to nominate qualified junior enlisted personnel to compete for an appointment to USAFA or attend the USAFA Preparatory School with the intention of a USAFA appointment. AIR FORCE OFFICER QUALIFYING TEST (AFOQT)

The Military Testing Office will administer the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) on 4 NOV, 18 NOV, 2 DEC, and 16 DEC 21. WEBSTER UNIVERSITY

Webster University makes enrolling simple with rolling admissions, with no strict deadline date to apply and no GRE or GMAT required for admission. On Tinker Air Force base WU offers graduate programs in Management in Leadership, Masters of Human Resource Management, Masters in Cybersecurity, and a Masters in Information Technology. Interested? 18 holes of gently rolling golf is enjoyable for riding and walking alike. The layout presents itself with all trouble easily visible to the golfer except for the pond and nearly island green on number 15, that can’t be seen from the tee. It is a fun course to play for all ages. From juniors to seniors and everybody between. The friendliness and camaraderie is unmatched. Don’t have a group? Family Tees– A shorter course for young and beginning golfers. These forward tees marked on the cart paths on the front nine provide young and beginning golfers the same chance at par as more experienced players from regular tees.

Soccer Golf– Still available on our front nine if you aren’t really into regular golf but like soccer. Friends can play mixed matches of golf and soccer golf.
