EDUCATION CENTER ANNOUNCES NEW OFFICE HOURS

The Education Center is available for walk-in customers. Hours of operation will be from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are reserved for appointments. For additional information, contact the Education Services Center @ (405) 739-7408.

LANGUAGE TESTING

Exciting news!!!! The Education Center has added additional testing sessions, starting in June, for the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) and the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT). The DLAB is a one test session exam (3 hours) that will be administered on Tuesday or Wednesday morning each week. The DLPT exam is a two-day, back-to-back, exam (3 hours each day) and will be administer on Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Air Force examinees should schedule via AFVEC. Contact the Education Services Center at (405) 739-7408 for guidance.

DANTES REMOTE DSST TESTING

Prometric now offers the DSST exam on their ProProctor Remote Testing platform! What does this mean for Service members? With a simple system validation and minimal setup requirements, Service members will be able to schedule DSST exams for delivery on their personal devices, anywhere at any time, monitored live, in realtime, by trained and certified professional proctors. A total of 36 of 37 DSST exams are available for virtual testing; the Principles of Public Speaking exam is not ready for remote proctor delivery yet. To schedule an exam, visit Prometric ProScheduler: www.prometric. com/test-takers/search/dantes. Service members can also access the link via www.getcollegecredit.com (the link located under “Find Testing Center” to be redirected to the Prometric website). Unofficial score reports are displayed upon completion of exam. Results are also sent to the email used to register for the exam. To access the report anytime, Service members can visit https:// scorereports.prometric.com. Official score reports are requested through Prometric. Appointment availability is limited due to the remote proctoring staffing structure

and limited number of dates/times. Remote testing cannot be used if self- paying for an exam. Contact the Education Services Center @ (405) 739-7408 should you have questions.

Tinker Golf Club

18 holes of gently rolling golf is enjoyable for riding and walking alike. The layout presents itself with all trouble easily visible to the golfer except for the pond and nearly island green on number 15, that can’t be seen from the tee. It is a fun course to play for all ages. From juniors to seniors and everybody between. The friendliness and camaraderie is unmatched. Don’t have a group? We will help find you great people to play with.

We also have a driving range and practice area to help hone your skills, including group and individual lessons for all ages.

Monthly Fun Tournaments– Have you ever putted in a sand trap or played 18 par 3’s in one round? How about holes ranging up to 1000 yards long? At Tinker you can do this and more by participating in our “fun” monthly events.

Family Tees– A shorter course for young and beginning golfers. These forward tees marked on the cart paths on the front nine provide young and beginning golfers the same chance at par as more experienced players from regular tees.

Soccer Golf– Still available on our front nine if you aren’t really into regular golf but like soccer. Friends can play mixed matches of golf and soccer golf.

Current dress code– No vulgar shirts. Uniforms can be worn on the range and putting green but not on the course. Only golf or tennis shoes may be worn. No boots, cleats other than golf. No cutoff shorts. 4th of July Special
