Troops To Teachers (TTT) Program
The TTT program helps separating, discharged, or retired military personnel become certified and employed as K-12 teachers in public schools. Unfortunately, the DoD sunset the program 13 SEP 19. However, the program received FY22 end of year funds to sustain grant agreements with state departments of education and will maintain program services in 25 states until 14 MAY 23 Oklahoma is one of the states that is included The Oklahoma POC is Mr Dennis Purvis (dennis.purvis@sde.ok.gov). Interested service members/veterans are encouraged to complete the program interest form: https://troopstoteachers. zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket form id=7634821859725 or review program information at www ProudToServeAgain com Upon completion of the program interest form, service members/veterans will be contacted by the state program for counseling and referral services. Service members/veterans interested in teaching within a state that does not have a state program will be contacted by the TTT program office.
National Test Center (NTC) Offers CLEP/DSST Testing
The NTC on the Rose State College Campus administers CLEP and DSST testing. All CLEP and DSST exams are FREE to AF personnel the first time taken. Retests of the same test must be paid for by the examinee before testing (no scores will be reported, or transcripts issued before payment is made). NOTE: Use SSN#, not CAC ID# when registering.

Rose State College
The Rose State College (RSC) Campus will be closed for the holiday break from 21 DEC 22 to 3 JAN 23. Advisement and CLEP/DSST testing, as well as all other business functions, will not be available during the closure The RSC Campus will re-open from the holiday break 3 JAN 23. Spring classes for the first 8-week and 16-week sessions begin 17 JAN 23. RSC also offers a second 8-week session that begins 20 MAR 23. The Office of Admissions and the National Testing Center are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm from 3 JAN to 17 JAN 23 RSC is ready to help you find the best pathway for your career goals. RSC offers the following military dependent and adult civilian scholarships: Lt. Vernon R. Butler U.S. Navy Memorial Scholarship, Tinker Federal Civic Leaders Scholarship, and Tinker Leadership Development Association Scholarship. The deadline for these scholarships is 1 APR 23.
