“I can’t even tell you how many animals we saw, but we enjoyed them all. The land is so flat that you can see for miles all around. It is particularly beautiful at sunset.” “I hope I get to see all of that someday,” said Christina wistfully. “You must be sure to do that,” said Shosho. “You are Kenyan, and this is your heritage. When you look out at the quiet land and all the animals grazing peacefully, you will feel as though you are back at the beginning of creation.”
Chapter IV First Eucharist
Christmas finally came, and with it, the day for Christina to receive her First Eucharist. She wore a pretty white dress and party shoes. Her hair was tied up with a perfect bow.
