Mamma looked over at her two youngest, who were listening open-mouthed to this list of stories. “What story do you two like?” she asked.

“We like the fire-breathing dragon story,” said Simon.

“But I don’t want it to be a scary dragon,” Klara added.

“Then let’s make up a new part of the story,” said María Stella. “Let’s say the dragon is really good at baking. The lights means that she decided to make a giant pile of cakes and sweet biscuits, and cook them with her fiery breath. Now she is flying around the sky dropping treats down on us. In fact, I have some now.” And she handed around the big bowl of sweet biscuits, to laughter and applause from the family.
