Drop your top, salute the sun and say hello to Wisconsin’s historic Fox Cities along spectacular Lake Winnebago! Appleton is considered one of the most vibrant cities in the Midwest. Houdini grew up here, as did the actor William DeFoe. The Fox Cities are the second most popular shopping destination in the US, ranking just behind the Mall of America. Pick up your registration kit and tour goodies at the RADISSON PAPER VALLEY HOTEL. Walk College Avenue or cruise to explore shops, cafes, museums and galleries downtown. Tonight we’ll party at the Radisson where most NFL teams stay when they play the Packers. Say hello to old friends, meet the new folks, tell topless touring tales, dine at the Classic Cruiser Buffet and get a full tour briefing at the Driver’s Meeting. Party tonight but get some rest because tomorrow we grid’em and circumnavigate Winnebago!

Great little shops, historic sites, lake views, friendly towns, putting contest and places you could write home about -if you only had the time! We’ll run topless through Wisconsin’s “Holy Land,” meet some saints and twist along the Glacial Moraine. Did you ever see a 200 lb. Sturgeon? Well, come dip a toe in the pond! Tonight get a group together, compare adventures and toast the ones still lost from previous Classics while you relax and dine at an excellent Fox Cities restaurant.

TO U R I N G TE A M OpenAir Tours was officially rolled out of the garage in January of 2006 after Wisconsin Convertible Classic ended. Gary and Mae Knowles of Madison, and fellow enthusiasts Mike and Donna Peroutka of Green Bay joined forces to keep the sprit of Topless Touring alive. Another longtime veteran of the WCC who will be working on the team is Greg Nametz of Madison. Together, the team selects destinations & hotels, sets routes, directs the tours and oversees promotions & operations. We’ll all be working to ensure that you have a great time!
