In-School Contact Tracing Protocol for Students
For the entire 14 days, they should strictly adhere to mitigation measures, including:
● appropriate mask usage, ● staying at least 6 feet from others except for brief transitional movements (e.g., changing classes), ● washing their hands, ● avoiding crowds, and ● taking other steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In-School Contact Tracing Protocol for Students
Once it has been determined that an exposure event has occurred and the event's epicenter is identified, the contact tracing process must be conducted.
● Students must be tiered using the following chart. ● In conjunction with the nurse, administrative staff must determine the students' risk level and place them on a tier, ● The school administration will report their findings to the superintendent for further instruction. ● The school administration will notify parents. ● The nurse will report all cases as required by the Department of Health.
Quarantine Times for Contract Tracing
Tier
Tier 1 – Close Contacts
Days of Quarantine
Fourteen days of required quarantine. A negative COVID-19 test result is required to return. The test must be taken after the 10th day of quarantining
Tier 2 – Potential Contacts Ten days of required quarantine. A negative COVID-19 test result is required to return. The test must be taken after the 5th day of quarantining
Tier 3 – Potentially Exposed Individuals
Notified of possible exposure, additional PPE, observation, and limited interaction with others in the workplace required
