MEET TIM WEBERDING WOODWORKING
Tim began honing his woodworking skills at a young age in his grandfather’s carving shop in Batesville, IN. After graduating from Purdue University and working several years in the corporate world, Tim gladly traded in his cubicle and went back to his roots as a fourth-generation woodworker.
Starting out on his own in 2002, Tim sold ornaments and a handful of his early products at craft shows and to a few local retailers in South Carolina with his wife, Jill. With a leap of faith, they moved to Tennessee to open a retail shop in Gatlinburg in 2005.
Hard work and many happy repeat customers grew the business, enabling them to successfully run their retail shop in the Arts & Crafts Community for 18 years.
Exponential growth of the retail shop and increasing wholesale customers through the years drove Tim to begin moving production back home to Batesville in 2012. By mid-2016, 100% of manufacturing and company headquarters permanently moved to Batesville, where Tim continues his family legacy of artistry in wood.
Today, Tim Weberding Woodworking masterfully combines the nearly lost art of traditional quality woodworking with the power and possibility of new technologies. Our original artwork, intricate designs, and beautiful craftsmanship remain the signature of the highly regarded Tim Weberding brand serving retail markets from coast to coast, including Alaska and Hawaii.
