As we head out of the darker (hopefully drier and warmer!), the lighter mornings and evenings are definitely putting a spring in my step. We hope this also means customers will be heading out more and into our stores!
I wanted to say thank you for everyone who took the time to write in to us, I have read every single email and there are so many incredible ideas and thoughts. Apologies we can’t respond to them all but check out page 10 to see who won the gift voucher for our top idea!
This is your newsletter so please share if there are there any areas you specifically want to hear about - any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions are very welcome. Please email thetims@timhortons.co.uk – we’d love to hear from you. We’re back... #2!

During their time at Tim Hortons, each of them made valuable contributions to their teams and the wider business. Their dedication, professionalism, and positive impact have been greatly appreciated. We wish them every success and happiness in their future endeavours.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Raman Kaur.

She left us far too soon — a bright light extinguished while it still shone so vividly.
Raman joined TH in 2024 and, from the very beginning, made a lasting impression on everyone around her. She was the kind of person you could always count on — offering thoughtful words in difficult moments, bringing laughter when it was needed most, and providing a steady, generous presence every day
While her work was exceptional, it was her kindness and the way she treated others that truly set her apart. Raman cared deeply about doing things well, but she cared even more about the people around her.
She remembered birthdays, checked in on colleagues who seemed quiet, and celebrated others’ successes as warmly as her own. She made people feel seen, valued, and supported.
We are heartbroken by this loss, and at the same time, deeply grateful — grateful to have known her, to have worked alongside her, and to have experienced her rare warmth and generosity, however brief that time was.
The absence she leaves behind is profound and will be felt for a long time to come.
Our thoughts are with Raman’s family, friends, and all those who loved her.

North Region Ops Update - CONT.

I would like to begin by telling you about Ambreen in Burnley. Ambreen began with us as a part time team members, quickly showcasing her hard work and eagerness to excel. Since those first steps she has progressed to Shift Manager and is now the Restaurant Manager in Burnley. She has made it to the top and showed no signs of stopping with positive results so far under her leadership
Sadly, it is impossible for me to talk about all the team so I will highlight only a few more Adrian in Argyle - you are still in your training after joining us as an external RM, but we have already seen that you mean business and I would like to use this time to say thank you for your leadership! You and the team have broken the record days sales since you started, and I can see a real turnaround in the restaurant!
Lastly, as some of you know, I run a personal program named “Project Pathway” Every month an ever-increasing number of SM + RMs of varying experience get together with me on a call and chat about leadership, challenges and personal growth. I love this opportunity to connect directly with you all and hope this continues to grow in the coming year.
Ask your line manager today if you want to be part of taking control of your leadership journey
Rory Van Hannigan REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

As we dive into 2026, it's evident that we've already set an unstoppable pace. While the journey hasn’t always been smooth, the unwavering dedication and resilience of our teams have pushed us forward Together, we've already shattered several records, each one showcasing the incredible strength of our collective efforts From record-breaking days to historic weeks, our progress thus far is just a glimpse of what lies ahead As we continue to face challenges, we stand strong, united, and ready to take on everything this year has to offer

Bury New Road: Record day £10,042
Leicester Fosse Park: Record hour £1,207
Plymouth: Record week £41,930
Oldham: Record day £9,863
These milestones represent just a fraction of what we’ve accomplished, and with even stronger campaigns ahead, the best is yet to come
Additionally, we’ve made tremendous strides in developing our talent within the estate The success stories we’ve seen this year exemplify the results of your commitment to excellence and growth:
Thomas Cant – Promoted to Restaurant Manager at Ipswich
Natasha Motala – Completing her Shift Manager training pathway in Gloucester, following her promotion from Team Member

Rhys Williams REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

It’s been a busy start to the year!
We kicked off with our C1 launch, partnering with the GOAT film This proved hugely popular with families, with the film generating over $185 million at the worldwide box office The partnership also supported our goal of collecting more customer data, giving guests the chance to win a trip to Barcelona, while creating a fun and engaging proposition for children Did you spot any of our stores with their windows painted? They certainly brought the campaign to life?
In January, the government introduced new rules around how high fat, sugar and salt (HFSS) products can be advertised. This means we’ve had to adjust how we communicate outside of our stores As a result, email has become more important than ever, helping us share our latest news and menu launches directly with customers

To support this, we’re offering a sign-up incentive to our email newsletters, customers can receive 3 free Timbits* when they join our email list. They’ll also receive a free donut* on their birthday, so please do encourage customers to sign up where possible

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working closely with the menu and operations teams to finalise the 2026 LTO calendar and we have even started on 2027! We have some exciting fanfavourite flavours returning, alongside new additions that we’re confident will be a hit
And whether you love it or hate it, there’s no escaping football this year… the World Cup is coming! We’re excited t be launching an exclusive Tim Hortons campaign during this time to drive both excitement and sales. Customers who spend over a set threshold will receive a scratch card, with thousands of prizes up for grabs and every card will be a winner. We hope this will help create a buzz around our brand during a key event of the world

Following our first edition, we were genuinely blown away by the number of ideas and suggestions sent in A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts and feedback. From small process improvements to bigger, more creative concepts, it’s clear there’s a huge amount of passion and innovation across our teams. Please do keep them coming, the very best ideas often come from working with our customers every single day
Tom Cant from our Ipswich store - your £20 Amazon voucher is on its way!
A big thanks to Tom for his idea to develop a “Do It Yourself” doughnut box a fun, interactive concept that gives customers the chance to customise their own treats. It’s a brilliant example of thinking beyond our current offering and creating something that could really enhance the customer experience
What we loved most was the simplicity and creativity behind it It’s something that feels very “Tim Hortons” - fun, shareable, perfect for families and groups and simple using current products and fillings.
We’re excited to share that Tom’s idea is already being explored further
• It has been shared with our Head of Food & Beverage
• Initial conversations are underway to understand how it could work operationally
• The idea will be presented at our next Senior Leadership Team meeting
• From there, we’ll assess whether it could become a commercially viable opportunity
No idea is too small, and every suggestion is reviewed carefully. Send your ideas to: thetims@timhortons.co.uk
