WORLD CUP

Monthly Newsletter

We’re back... #3!

What a June we’ve had, the heat wave hit and summer arrived early. The warmer weather has brought a fantastic atmosphere to the country, with more people enjoying time out with family and friends – and hopefully making a stop at Tim Hortons along the way. We saw Tims Shakes, Iced French Vanilla Cold, Iced Capp and Iced Latte sales all in double digit growth vs May 2025.

It's also an exciting month for football fans as the World Cup gets underway. Whether you love or hate football, the buzz that comes with a major sporting event, is a huge opportunity for us as a business. With our late opening hours, Drive Thru and 24 hour stores we can be there for our customers before and after the later start time games.

Our Sip, Scratch & Win campaign is now live across our restaurants, helping us create excitement for our guests and drive even more visits into our stores through an exciting scratchcard mechanic. Customers who spend over the minimum spend, will receive a scratchcard containing an instant win reward for use on their next visit.

Most importantly, I want to take a moment to thank every one of you for the incredible results we've continued to deliver. Across the business, we're seeing strong sales performance, record-breaking weeks in many locations, and fantastic execution of our campaigns. These results don't happen by accident, they are a direct reflection of the energy, passion and hard work you bring every day.

As always, this newsletter is for you. Please continue to share your ideas, feedback and stories with us. It's brilliant to hear what's happening across our restaurants and support teams, and many of our best ideas come directly from the people serving our guests every day.

Thank you for everything you do, and here's to a successful (and hopefully sunny!) summer ahead.

Ops Update

A special mention goes to Northampton, which has achieved multiple record-breaking performances across Hours, Days, and Breakfast Shifts, demonstrating exceptional consistency and operational execution. Chichester and Harlow have also delivered outstanding results, each achieving records in more than one category

Investing in Our People

A key achievement this year has been reducing Overall Employee Turnover to below target, reflecting the great work taking place across our restaurants to create engaging environments where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow We continue to see the benefits of investing in our people through internal progression Congratulations to Lleyton at Chichester, who joined us in Q4 2025 and was promoted to Shift Manager this quarter. We're also celebrating the promotions of Lovepreet Kaur at Nuneaton, Harsh Raval at Oldham, and Christian Leonard at Motherwell, who have all progressed from Team Member to Shift Manager.

A special mention also goes to Arun Jaimes, who has been promoted from Shift Manager at Warrington DT to Restaurant Manager at Bury New Road, demonstrating the exciting career opportunities available across our business

Thank you to everyone for your continued hard work, commitment and dedication to making Tim Hortons a great place for both our guests and our team members.

Let's continue to build on this momentum and make the second half of the year even stronger Congratulations on a fantastic start to the year, we're excited to see what we can achieve together next

Marketing Update

It’s been another busy and exciting period for the Marketing team!

Before looking ahead, I wanted to reflect on some great results we saw in C3.

Our Beef Burger promotion delivered a significant increase in Beef Burger sales, up 38% versus LY (Last Year). While redemption rates of the deal were fairly low, at approx 75 deals per store per week sold, this is encouraging news suggesting the promotion successfully drove full-price Beef Burger purchases rather than customers simply buying the discounted deal As a result, we believe the campaign not only increased product sales but also had a positive impact on Average Transaction Value (ATV).

In C3, we also launched both our latest Limited-Edition BBQ and Blueberry/Pecan menu (customer favourites!) and our World Cup campaign It has been fantastic to see the Sip, Scratch & Win campaign come to life across our restaurants, creating excitement for both our guests and teams. With over 300,000 prizes available to be won, we're looking forward to seeing the impact it has throughout the tournament

Please ensure you are talking about the scratchcard and encourage customers to spend £15 instore to receive a card

As we continue to focus on the significant opportunity within digital, I’m delighted to announce that Harriet Cushen has joined the Marketing team as Senior Digital Marketing Manager. Harriet joins us from Costa and brings a wealth of experience in loyalty, CRM and digital marketing She will lead our digital, loyalty and aggregator strategy, helping us strengthen customer engagement and unlock new sales opportunities. We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to the impact she will make

While many of us are enjoying the sunshine, the Marketing team is already looking ahead to winter! Planning for Christmas is well underway, and we're working closely with teams across the business to make this year's festive season even bigger and better than ever before We have some exciting ideas in development and can't wait to bring them to life later in the year.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support in bringing our campaigns to life in restaurants.

Your ideas matterwin £20 Amazon voucher!

Over the past few editions of our newsletter, we've been delighted by the fantastic number of ideas and suggestions we've received A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their feedback and innovative thinking From simple process improvements to larger, more creative initiatives, it's clear there's an incredible amount of passion, expertise, and innovation across our teams. Please keep your ideas coming as some of the most valuable insights come from those who work alongside our customers every day

And our winner is…

Graham Duhig – your £20 Amazon voucher is on its way!

A big thank you to Graham for suggesting the development of a new salad boxes. Graham highlighted that we already have all the ingredients needed to create a fresh, great-tasting salad. Customers could also customise their salad by adding tenders, bacon or a meatless patty for a small additional charge, along with a choice of sauces using those we already have available, such as Chipotle or BBQ

This idea would also provide more choice for gluten-free customers and could even be offered as a side option with a meal.

We love that Graham's idea considers the needs of all our customers, supports the growing demand for healthier options, and makes great use of ingredients we already have in store. It's something we've been exploring with our Head Chef, and we're hopeful it will become an in-store option in the near future.

What happens next?

We’re excited to share that Graham’s idea is already being explored further

• Our Head of Food & Beverage is already working on salads

• We have been reviewing the potential opportunity

• Supply chain have started to understand packaging options

Could you be next?
