THE DANA POINT TURKEY TROT RETURNS THIS THANKSGIVING FOR ITS 48TH YEAR, WITH OVER 11,000 RUNNERS EXPECTED TO JOIN IN ON ORANGE COUNTY’S FAVORITE THANKSGIVING TRADITION! THIS FAMILY-FRIENDLY RACE INVITES PARTICIPANTS OF ALL AGES TO ENJOY A FLAT, SCENIC COURSE THROUGH DANA POINT HARBOR. The event includes a 10K Race at 7:00am and Kids’ 1-mile Gobble Wobble at 10:15am, making it the perfect way for families to start their holiday together. The first 5K race begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the second at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race will support the Dana Point Historical Society, Dana Point Women’s Club for Project
Foster, and YMCA of Orange County, giving back to our coastal community. Families can enjoy even more fun at the costume contest at 9:15 a.m. at the Start Line—keep an eye out for our mascot, Drumstick, who’s always up for a family photo #DPTurkeyTrot! This year’s Health & Fitness Expo

features both local and national vendors with products and services focused on wellness. Expo hours are November 26, from 12-6pm, and Thanksgiving morning from 6-11am. We will be accepting donations of new pajamas for foster children and at-risk children in Orange County. Accepting NEW, non-holiday specific
pajamas for boys and girls in child sizes Small (3T) - XXLarge (16/18). Drop off donations to the Dana Point Women’s Club booth in the Expo on Wednesday and Thanksgiving.
